Hospitals received critical equipment thanks to the “Nadiya” Youth Initiative Foundation and the Denys Paramonov Foundation
Now one of the hospitals in Ivano-Frankivsk, which also treats military personnel, has a modern artificial kidney device.
The “Nadiya” Youth Initiative Foundation and the Denis Paramonov Foundation provided an artificial kidney to a hospital in Ivano-Frankivsk. Previously, ten such devices to save patients have already been provided to medical institutions in Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhia, Pokrovsk and Chernihiv.
Currently, compression syndromes and acute kidney injuries are very common among the military in combat. This problem is especially prevalent in the military with crush syndrome, also called turnstile syndrome or prolonged compression syndrome.
According to Valeriy Dubil, deputy chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on National Health and chairman of the supervisory board of the Nadiya Youth Initiative Charitable Foundation, hemodialysis is a vital procedure when your own kidneys no longer work.
“Without hemodialysis, a person can live for a week or two. To completely cancel this procedure is death for the patient. Even during hostilities and war, our Ukrainian doctors perform kidney transplants. When we were asked to provide the hospital with this device, we responded and helped,” said Valeriy Dubil.
So now one of the hospitals in Ivano-Frankivsk, where the military are also treated, has a modern artificial kidney device. In his turn, the founder of the charitable foundation and philanthropist Denys Paramonov noted that only joint efforts of philanthropists can provide all the necessary medical equipment to even more hospitals.
“We work every day to ensure that Ukrainian hospitals receive only the best and most modern equipment,” says Denys Paramonov, ”As soon as we receive a request from doctors, we immediately start looking for ways to deliver this or that equipment to the medical institution that needs it. The support of doctors is very important today, as they are already working overtime to save as many patients as possible.”
In addition to providing Ivano-Frankivsk hospital with an artificial kidney, Denis Paramonov's Charitable Foundation and the Nadiia Youth Initiative Charitable Foundation, together with volunteers, also delivered another batch of critical medicine to other healthcare facilities in Ivano-Frankivsk. These include, for example, an argon plasma coagulator, wheelchairs, medical supplies, and vitamin complexes from Revival Foundation and GeriCare.
As part of the humanitarian mission, the volunteers also delivered aid to the Main Department of the National Police in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. The police received power generation and storage equipment, Starlink, vitamin complexes and technological backpacks to help them perform their tasks.
“I am sincerely grateful to the team of volunteers of “Nadiya”, as well as to all friends and partners who systematically support the medical industry of Ukraine. In particular: Vasyl Bytchenko, Maksym Litvinov, Andy Evangelo and YouTube blogger NAKHIBA. I would also like to thank the Denys Paramonov Charitable Foundation, Roman Bochkala, Battalion Volunteer, Ihor Korzh, Dmytro Nikitin, and Lyudmyla Rusalina. Only together, by combining all our efforts, we are a powerful force that cannot be overcome,” summarized Valeriy Dubil.
Earlier, it was reported that Kyiv Okhmatdyt would receive UAH 1 million for its reconstruction from philanthropist Denys Paramonov and SMK Group.
Denis Paramonov's charitable foundation has also previously helped Okhmatdyt with the latest medical equipment.
